CYPRESS, Calif. – Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. (MMNA), the fastest-growing Asian brand in the U.S. for the second consecutive year*, today announced a new addition to its North American dealer network – Valley Mitsubishi-Longmont in Longmont, Colorado. The dealership opened its doors to the community in late February.

Valley Mitsubishi-Longmont is the newest standalone Mitsubishi dealership in the greater Denver metropolitan area under an established local dealership group, which also includes Valley Nissan, Valley Subaru, as well as Prestige Chrysler Dodge Jeep RAM, Loveland Ford-Lincoln, Greely Nissan and Greely Volkswagen.

The new Mitsubishi dealership is part of MMNA's ongoing initiative to expand its dealer network in previously untapped urban and rural markets, while also increasing visibility and awareness of the Mitsubishi brand across the country.

Last year, MMNA expanded its national field operations network from two regions to four by adding new offices in Florida and California in an effort to reinforce sales support for dealers. Additionally, these new regions offer better and faster customer support in parts, accessories and service of their new Mitsubishi. The other field operations are located in New Jersey and Texas.

With four unique vehicles in the hot crossover utility vehicle (CUV) segment, including the Outlander PHEV, the world's best-selling plug-in hybrid CUV**, MMNA posted overall sales of 118,074 vehicles in 2018, up 13.9 percent over 2017. This was the brand's best annual sales performance since 2007. This momentum continues to strengthen the brand's dynamic CUV lineup while attracting an expanded pool of buyers in showrooms across the country.
