FRANKLIN, Tenn. – Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. (MMNA) today welcomed the latest new dealership to its expanding U.S. dealer network – Charlie Obaugh Mitsubishi in Staunton, Virginia.

Charlie Obaugh Mitsubishi joins the dealer network as part of MMNA's ongoing expansion of its dealer footprint into untapped markets where opportunities exist to introduce the brand to a new group of consumers. The dealership is part of the larger local Charlie Obaugh Auto Group, which includes Charlie Obaugh Chevrolet-Buick-GMC and Charlie Obaugh Kia.

MMNA recently finalized the relocation of its U.S. headquarters from Cypress, California to Franklin, Tennessee. The relocation is part of an ongoing effort to reinvent every aspect of the Mitsubishi Motors brand and business in the U.S., from corporate leadership to dealer partners to every touchpoint in a customer's relationship with their vehicle.

In 2019, MMNA added 36 new dealer partners while also expanding its national field operations network from two regions to four, adding new offices in Florida and California to reinforce sales support for dealers. The Florida and California teams joined already established operations based in New Jersey and Texas.
