Mitsubishi Motors USA Foundation and O’Brien Mitsubishi award annual scholarships for Heartland Community College
- The Heartland Community College Scholarship benefits graduates of three local Normal, Illinois high schools
- Since 2015, 15 annual scholarships amounting to $10,500 are awarded each fall through 2020 – a total of $52,500
- This scholarship is among several donations the Mitsubishi Motors USA Foundation is contributing to the Central Illinois community
CYPRESS, Calif. – Mitsubishi Motors USA Foundation, in partnership with O'Brien Mitsubishi of Normal, Illinois, announced they will once again award $10,500 in scholarships for Heartland Community College to benefit graduates of Normal Community High School, Normal West High School and Bloomington High School this year. The foundation began the fund in 2015 with $52,500, with $10,500 being granted on an annual basis. Scholarships will be awarded to 15 local Normal, Illinois graduates through 2020.

Five students at each of the three local high schools will be awarded scholarships to be used at Heartland Community College. Three scholarships will be for $500 and two scholarships will be for $1,000. In total, 75 scholarships will be granted in the five-year period.
