CYPRESS, Calif. – Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. (MMNA), the fastest-growing Asian brand in the U.S. for the second consecutive year*, today announced its newest addition to its North American dealer network – Inver Grove Mitsubishi in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota.

Inver Grove Mitsubishi serves the greater Minneapolis-Saint Paul metropolitan area, and its opening supports the company's continuing expansion of its dealer network into urban and rural markets where opportunities exist to further grow the brand.

In June, MMNA announced it would relocate its U.S. headquarters from Cypress, California to Franklin, Tennessee by the end of 2019. The relocation is part of an ongoing effort to reinvent every aspect of the Mitsubishi Motors brand and business in the U.S., from corporate leadership to dealer partners to every touchpoint in a customer's relationship with their vehicle. The company chose Franklin to take advantage of the area's business-friendly culture and deep pool of skilled workers as it recruits for more than 150 open positions across all departments.

Over the past 18 months, MMNA added more than 40 new dealer partners while also expanding its national field operations network from two regions to four, adding new offices in Florida and California to reinforce sales support for dealers. The Florida and California teams joined established operations based in New Jersey and Texas.
