The 2004 Mitsubishi Endeavor is available in two drivetrain formats (front-wheel or all-wheel-drive) and three equipment trim levels, for a total of six Endeavor models. Endeavor LS

Endeavor XLS

With a longer list of standard equipment, the Endeavor XLS adds character, sophistication, and capability to this SUV. An extensive list of available options groups means that Endeavor XLS owners can better tailor their vehicles specifications to meet their needs. The Endeavor XLS interior is upgraded with a power driver's seat, upgraded premium fabric seat covering and cargo cover. The Endeavor XLS instrument panel includes a 315-watt, seven-speaker, six-CD changing, Infinity/Mitsubishi premium audio system with steering wheel controls. A color LCD screen atop the dash panel displays a compass, outside temperature, and also allows for the customization of the ETACS computer which controls a variety of the vehicle's functions such as auto-dimming. Externally, the Endeavor XLS is distinguished by its attractive chrome bumper garnish and a roof rack with cross bars to accommodate specialty mounts. Available Endeavor XLS options include a power sunroof, side-impact airbags, ABS for the front-wheel-drive model, a Leather Package that includes seats covering, shifter and steering wheel leather, a Full-size Spare and Towing Prep Package, and an available cold zone package that includes heated seats and side mirrors. The Endeavor XLS covers a price range of approximately $28,000 to $32,000 depending on equipment level.

Endeavor Limited

The Endeavor Limited is a fully equipped SUV that features a level of standard equipment that one would expect to find on a premium luxury SUV. The Endeavor Limited is a refined, upscale midsize SUV that builds on the XLS specification with some very well chosen features and upgrades. The Endeavor Limited adds features such as an Automatic climate control, a rear A/C control and blower fan in the center console, side-impact airbags, leather seat surfaces, and a tire pressure monitoring system.

The Endeavor Limited is the only model that will offer the handling reassurance of the M-ASTC (Mitsubishi Active Skid and Traction Control) system as an option later in the 2004 model year (Fall 2003). Externally, the Endeavor Limited is distinguished by its color-keyed bumper garnish and unique, machine finished seven-spoke, 17-inch alloy wheels. With a long list of standard features, only the Full-Size Spare and Towing Prep Package are offered as optional equipment. The Endeavor Limited will be available in approximately the $32,000 - $35,000 price range.
