Mitsubishi Motors launches 100K-mile warranty

Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. (MMNA) today announced a standard 10-year, 100-thousand mile limited powertrain warranty for all Mitsubishi Motors products sold in the U.S., beginning with '04 models. This includes coverage for the high-performance Lancer Evolution, winner of Automobile Magazine's "Automobile of the Year" for 2004 and the Sport Compact Car Magazine's 2004 "Car of the Year."

Mitsubishi Motors also will retroactively apply the warranty to customers who have already purchased a 2004 product, as well as offer it to new customers. The warranty is applicable to original owners only.
