Mitsubishi Motors reports February U.S. sales

Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc., (MMNA) today reported February 2005 U.S. sales of 12,477 units - a 72 percent increase from January's sales volume.

" February was an excellent month for Mitsubishi Motors, and we hope to see that sales momentum continue throughout 2005 as we launch exciting new products like the 2006 Eclipse in the spring and the all-new Raider truck in the fall," said David Schembri, executive vice president of sales and marketing at Mitsubishi Motors North America.

In addition to the overall monthly increase in sales volume, MMNA experienced a dramatic increase in sales of several vehicles, including a 113 percent increase in Galant sales from January at 4,772 units, a 97 percent increase in Lancer sales from last month at 2,639 units, and a 51 percent increase in Endeavor sales from last month at 1,928 units.
