Mitsubishi Motors reports March U.S. sales

Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc., (MMNA) today reported March 2005 U.S. sales of 14,776 units - an 18 percent increase from February's sales volume.

"Mitsubishi Motors' sales volume has steadily increased each month of 2005, and we look forward to that trend continuing as we approach the spring launch of the 2006 Eclipse," said David Schembri, executive vice president of sales and marketing at Mitsubishi Motors North America.

In addition to the monthly increase in sales volume, MMNA experienced an increase in sales of several vehicles, including a 23 percent increase in Lancer sales from last month, a 37 percent increase in Endeavor sales from last month (and a 16 percent increase since 2004), and a 34 percent increase in Eclipse sales from last month (and a 14 percent increase since 2004).
