Mitsubishi motors launches convenient new Mitsubishi roadside assistance app for the iPhone
Cypress, California – Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. (MMNA) has launched a new, easy to use Mitsubishi Roadside Assistance app for the iPhone that is available for free from Apple’s iTunes.
Working in conjunction with Mitsubishi Motors’ Roadside Assistance partner Agero, the Mitsubishi Roadside Assistance app is designed to give customers access to immediate roadside aid for common problems including a flat tire, lock-out assistance, fuel delivery, a jump start or even a tow to the nearest authorized Mitsubishi Motors dealership should it be required.
The app can be downloaded from the App Store on iTunes (http://www.itunes.com/appstore/)
After downloading the new Mitsubishi Roadside Assistance iPhone app, all the customer has to do is input their name, phone number and Mitsubishi vehicle identification number (VIN) into the app.
Should a customer require roadside assistance, all he or she has to do is open the Mitsubishi Roadside Assistance app and select the type of service they require. The app will then pinpoint the customer's exact location using advanced GPS-enabled technology. The customer is then asked to press the button to call for service, quickly connecting them with the Mitsubishi Roadside Assistance call center. The call center consultant will then confirm that the vehicle identification number (VIN) is still eligible for services*, the vehicle location, and the type of service required prior to dispatching help to the location.
While the customer waits for help, the Mitsubishi Roadside Assistance app will provide the name, phone number and other details relating to the roadside assistance service provider. Additionally, the app will alert the customer when the roadside assistance service provider is approximately 5 minutes from arrival.
The app requires iOS 4.0 or later and is compatible with the iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, and iPhone 4S.
*If the customer’s vehicle is no longer eligible for MMNA Roadside Assistance, the customer can pay for the services over the phone.
