Lancer and Spyder lead Mitsubishi sales performance in October

Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc., (MMNA) today reported October sales of 9,288 units, virtually unchanged from last October's total of 9,292.

MMNA's sales have shown consistent growth over the past six months, the first six months of the business year. Sales are expected to increase significantly in November with the addition of the Outlander, Mitsubishi's all new fuel efficient crossover SUV.

October sales highlights:

• Lancer was the volume leader at 2,382, up 47.4% from October 2005.
• Eclipse Spyder sales of 518 for the month, was an increase of 469.2% over last October.
