Mitsubishi Motors named one of the best employers of 2018 By Forbes

CYPRESS, Calif. – Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. (MMNA) has been named to Forbes' Best Employers list for 2018. Mitsubishi Motors ranked among the top in the automotive industry sector. In collaboration with online research firm Statista, the annual list is based on an independent survey from a vast sample of more than 30,000 U.S. employees working for companies in their U.S. operations.

The evaluation of companies was based on direct recommendations by employees and indirect recommendations by employers in their respective industries. These recommendations were coupled with an employee survey focused on work related topics including working conditions, salary, potential for development and company image regarding current employers. The results of these factors were then combined to calculate a final score for more than 2,300 employers in the U.S.

"Mitsubishi prides itself on the passionate and dedicated employees who are the driving force behind our brand's momentum," said Fred Diaz, president and chief executive officer, MMNA. "Being recognized by Forbes is a great honor and validation to our commitment to provide a working environment that is supportive, diverse and dynamic."

Mitsubishi Motors was recognized as a top employer in the automotive industry and this special recognition by Forbes comes at an exciting time for the brand in the United States. The award adds to the momentum fueling the fastest growing non-luxury auto brand in the U.S. in 2017, having recently launched two all-new vehicles – the 2018 Eclipse Cross and 2018 Outlander PHEV
