Mitsubishi Motors Credit of America appoints new president

Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. (MMNA) announced today that effective immediately Dan Booth will assume the role of President of Mitsubishi Motors Credit of America, Inc. (MMCA). Booth is replacing Jeff Young, the outgoing president who has left the company to pursue other business opportunities.

"Dan is a tremendous asset to the company and he's the right person to be taking over the leadership position at MMCA because of his knowledge of its operation and his membership on their Board of Directors," said MMNA Executive Vice President, Don Swearingen. "We thank Jeff Young for his ten plus years of service and we wish him well in his new endeavors."

An industry veteran, Booth, 49, started his career at MMNA in 1988 working as a staff accountant in manufacturing and has worked his way through various positions within the company. In 2002, Booth assumed the role of EVP and CFO for MMNA Sales and Manufacturing, and for the past twelve years has been on the Board of Directors for MMCA.

In addition to being on the Board at MMCA, Booth is also on the Board of Directors for MMNA and is a member of MMNA's Executive Committee.
