Mitsubishi Motors appoints Jeremy Barnes as Senior Director Of Communications and Events
Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. (MMNA) today announced the appointment of Jeremy Barnes to the position of Senior Director, Communications and Events in North America. In this new role, Barnes will be responsible for the development and management of MMNA's external and internal public relations strategies and overseeing the company's events efforts.
"Jeremy will play a key role in helping to advance the Mitsubishi Motors brand through strategic public relations efforts," said Mark Chaffin, chief operating officer, MMNA. "As we continue to grow our brand and increase awareness, MMNA will leverage public relations and events as a critical resource to communicate our message to media, consumers, dealers, and the automotive industry."
Barnes brings over 25 years of public relations and automotive experience, including product and corporate communications, media relations, crisis communication, brand and experiential marketing and government relations. He has held a variety of positions at Toyota Motor Sales, Ford Motor Company, and most recently at Mazda North American Operations, where he was the Director, Public Relations & Brand Experience.
