Mitsubishi Motors North America (MMNA) is building upon the already attractive qualities of the 2006 Mitsubishi Galant by offering highly desirable consumer features in a new value driven "Special Edition" package. The 2006 Mitsubishi Galant SE attracts mid-size sedan consumers with an affordable price of $21,999.

The stylish and modern interior of the 2006 Galant is enriched on the SE with standard leather-trimmed seating surfaces. Other standard premium features include automatic climate control and a dot-matrix color audio display with compass, calendar, outdoor temperature, door alarm, trip computer and maintenance recorder.

On the exterior, the 2006 Galant SE shares many of the same styling cues that distinguish the top-of-the-line GTS model. Parabolic fog lamps and rear combination lamps give the SE a sophisticated look. The SE is given a distinct appearance from unique seven spoke 17" aluminum alloy wheels.

The 2006 Galant SE is powered by a responsive 2.4-liter inline four-cylinder engine with Mitsubishi Innovative Valve timing and lift Electronic Control (MIVEC) system that produces 160 horsepower and 157 pound-feet of torque.
