Meanwhile, Mitsubishi Motors' updated flagship retains all the attributes – 38 miles of all-electric range, 420 miles of combined range, seating for seven, and confidence-inspiring Super All-Wheel Control (S-AWC) all-wheel drive – that have made it a favorite among customers, dealer partners, and industry experts since launch.2,3

"The rest of the world seems to have realized what Mitsubishi Motors figured out years ago: plug-in hybrids are the ideal solution for drivers looking for quiet, clean eco-friendly motoring without concerns about range and charging on longer trips," said Mark Chaffin, CEO, Mitsubishi Motors North America (MMNA). "Combine all that with an approachable starting-at price, and you've got a value that can't be beaten. It's no wonder Outlander Plug-in Hybrid is still the world's best-selling all-wheel drive plug-in hybrid SUV."

Outlander Plug-in Hybrid is available in three trim levels – ES starting at $40,445, SE starting at $43,095, and SEL starting at $46,395 – with select packages available to further enhance the near-luxury experience.4 Every Outlander Plug-in Hybrid comes standard with seating for seven as well as a twin-motor S-AWC all-wheel drive system boasting a combined 248 horsepower and 332 lb./ft of torque that achieves a 64 MPGe (miles-per-gallon equivalent) rating.2, 3

Starting at $43,095, the SE trim adds 20-inch two-tone alloy wheels, Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Traffic Jam Assist, Lane Keep Assist (LKA), Lane Departure Prevention (LDP), and Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR).5,6,7,9 Other SE features include a 9-inch Smartphone-link Display Audio w/Navigation – SiriusXM with three-month All Access trial, wireless Smartphone charging, LED front fog lights, hands-free power remote liftgate, leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob and Mitsubishi Connect with Safeguard and Remote service trial subscription.11 The Tech Package adds a power panoramic sunroof, auto-dimming review mirror, and Bose premium audio for $2,000.12
